Taiwan Tourism Bureau KL Introducing “Oh Bear Go!” Cycling & Rail Tourism in Taiwan Travel Advertising Vehicle

Travel. Yes, since more countries are opening up borders and lifting strict quarantine rules due to Covid-19, we will be seeing more exciting travel launches from many tourism boards around the world. The latest one would be Taiwan! A few days ago, located at Kloe Hotel Kuala Lumpur, the “Oh Bear Go!” Cycling & Rail Tourism in Taiwan Travel Advertising Vehicle (grabcar) were launched by the Taiwan Tourism Bureau Kuala Lumpur Office.

What’s exciting about the “Oh Bear Go!” vehicles is that 200 of these cars would be roaming three of Malaysia’s busy cities mainly the Klang Valley, Penang and Johor. Out of the 200 vehicles, 120 of them would be in Klang Valley whereas another 40 would be in Johor and the remaining 40 would be in Penang. It was a momentous event for the Taiwan Tourism Bureau Kuala Lumpur Office because these tourism-themed advertising vehicles have managed to make their way into Malaysia’s “Book of Records” as well.

“Oh Bear Go!” Cycling & Rail Tourism in Taiwan Travel Advertising Vehicle Launch

During the launch, it was easy to say that Taiwan is trying to target the Muslim market – in addition to their return visitors – by promising an improved Muslim-friendly environment be it in the scope of food, scenic experiences, shopping and many more. One of the main highlights for Muslim travellers who might not be so keen to travel to Taiwan is that there had been over 200 restaurants and hotels in Taiwan that have received Halal certification from relevant/authoritative bodies.

In fact, according to Mastercard-Crescent Rating’s “Global Muslim Travel Index (GMTI) 2022, Taiwan maintained its second-place position among the world’s non-OIC (non-Organization of Islamic Cooperation) destinations for providing a Muslim-friendly travel environment. So, if you are a Muslim and had been thinking of making Taiwan your next tourism destination but are not sure if it’s the best choice for you, the reason above could be one of the key points for you to make a decision.

Then again, for years now Taiwan has been one of the best countries to go to during the Cherry Blossoms season. Yes, in case you didn’t know, Taiwan also has Cherry Blossoms that they could boast, not only Japan! As a matter of fact, if you’re on a budget but would love to see the Cherry Blossoms in Springtime, it is better to go to Taiwan since the cost to travel there is lower than to Japan during Spring. Apart from that, if you’re also a scenery type of person or enjoy doing activities like mountain climbing or hiking during your travels, Taiwan also has incredible sceneries to view and many outdoor activities to join safely.
